
Applications are invited for the above part-time permanent position. A panel will be formed from which other permanent or temporary posts may be filled.
Role Purpose
The Senior Social worker will work as a member of the interdisciplinary team in collaboration with MDT colleagues providing services to children from 0-18 years and families who are accessing the Children's Disability Network Team.
Key Responsibilities
The role of Senior Social Worker will involve group work, safeguarding and advocacy on behalf of families. A senior social worker will lead in key areas of service development, reporting to the CDNT manager. Professional clinical supervision will be provided. The ability to manage and prioritize a busy caseload, and work in an inter-disciplinary way using a family centered practice approach are also keys requirements of the role.It is an opportunity for the right candidate to develop their skills and be a positive influence on shaping services within the CDNT.
The Person
- Social Work Degree or equivalen
- CORU Registered
- 3 years minimum post qualifying experience
- Experience of working with families & children (Desirable)
- Experience of working in Disability, Child Safeguarding, Group work (Desirable)
