To meet the evolving healthcare needs of our community we have completed Phase 1 of our redevelopment project which includes a five-storey Inpatient Unit building, expanded theatre capacity, new Critical Care Unit, a state of-the-art Dialysis Unit and an extension of the current Emergency Department.

Community Connector Program: We offer 1:1 relocation consultant support for new employees to assist with finding housing, childcare/education (if applicable), partner employment (if applicable), social groups & integration into our community to assist in the transition to Shepparton, regional Victoria

What we’re looking for
Relevant specialist qualification such as Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists or equivalent is essential
Have specialist medical registration with the Medical Board of Australia under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
Be eligible for registration for Medicare provider number

Selection Criteria
Essential : Commitment to the GV Health Values of Compassion, Respect, Excellence, Accountability, Teamwork and Ethical Behaviour and ability to exhibit behaviour which reflects our values.
Essential : Evidence of being a medical expert, including past experience in a range of areas in General Medicine and Advanced certificates or similar recognised experience in a subspecialty field. Should be knowledgeable about Genereal Medicine to the level of a RACP fellow
Essential : Evidence of being a good communicator, including both oral and written skills and a sensitive approach to clear communication with patients, careers, other professionals and the public.
Essential : Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists
Essential : Must be in good standing with all Regulatory Authorities.
Essential : Evidence of full immunisation against COVID19 and Influenza
Essential : A satisfactory National Criminal History Record Check, Victorian "Employee" Working with Children Check and completion of a Commonwealth of Australia Statutory Declaration will be required from prospective candidates prior to commencement of employment.
