Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse current with the Ontario College of Nurses, BScN considered an asset
- Commitment to and evidence of participation in continuing education, including but not limited to MICs mandatory education sessions
- Current ACLS Heart and Stroke, BLS – Heart and Stroke
- Excellent assessment skills; knowledge & practice of Nursing Process, CNO standards & legislated acts to provide quality patient care to all age groups; follow best practice guidelines
- Communication skills level to understand and follow facility policies & procedures; English speaking, French an asset
- Experience with computers including Microsoft Outlook, PCS/Meditech
- Physical ability to perform job duties
