The Southern Health & Social Care Trust provides integrated patient / client centred services to a population of approximately 370,000 people in the local areas of Armagh, Banbridge, Craigavon, Dungannon, South Tyrone, Newry and Mourne .
The Trust provides a wide range of hospital, community and primary care services. General acute in-patient hospital services are located at Craigavon Area Hospital and Daisy Hill Hospital and acute mental health and learning disability in-patient hospital services are located in the Bluestone Unit also on the Craigavon Area Hospital site. Working in collaboration with GPs and other agencies, Trust staff provide locally based health and social care services in Trust premises, in people’s own homes and in the community. The Trust purchases some services, such as domiciliary, residential and nursing care and day care from private and voluntary organisations.
The Trust employs approximately 14,000 staff and has an annual income of about £678m, spending approximately £1.86m per day delivering care to local people.
Southern College of Nursing, Craigavon Area Hospital
The South Eastern Health & Social Care Trust (SEHSCT) currently employs approximately 12,500 staff. MDEC Building, Altnagelvin Area Hospital, Glenshane Road
The Trust is the second largest in Northern Ireland, offering a large number of career opportunities, with great scope for ongoing advancement and development within the organisation.
The Trust is responsible for the delivery of safe and effective health and social care services to a population of approximately 470,000, the largest resident population in Northern Ireland. The Trust also provides services to Rathlin, the only inhabited island off the coast of Northern Ireland.
A highly skilled and professional workforce provides acute services through two hospitals – Antrim Area and Causeway – and community-based health and social care services from four localities which together include approximately 300 facilities including day centres, health centres and residential homes.

Collingwood General and Marine Hospital (CGMH) is an 84 bed hospital located in Collingwood, Ontario (approximately 90 minutes north of Toronto) that serves more than 74,000 permanent residents and 3.5 Million annual visitors to the communities of Wasaga Beach, Collingwood, Clearview and the Blue Mountains.
CGMH is an acute care hospital providing emergency care, diagnostic services including lab, imaging and cardio respiratory therapy, as well as two inpatient units (medicine and surgery). In addition, CGMH also provides care in specialty areas including obstetrics, orthopaedics, intensive care and surgery. The Hospital also provides out patient care including dialysis and a wide range of clinics including mental health and rehabilitation services.
CGMH continues to provide care close to home for our community and plays a key role as an integrated orthopaedic centre for our region.
The Falkland Islands Government Health Service is responsible for the provision of all preventative and treatment services in the islands, including community services, dental care, social and benefits services.
Primary and secondary health care facilities are based at the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital (KEMH) in Stanley, the only hospital on the islands. It is a 27 bed hospital with a small accident and emergency department, an acute ward with a two bedded intensive care unit and a maternity bed. Also currently under construction is a 45 bedded extra care facility which is due to open in 2024, this is where the community support services will be based.
Care to the remote farm settlements is provided by the GP’s via telephone consultations and regular visits.

Dubbo Health Service referral network (usual referral and discharge relationships) is the largest in the LHD supporting the towns of Dubbo, Baradine, Brewarrina, Collarenebri, Coolah, Coonabarabran, Coonamble, Dunedoo, Gilgandra, Gulargambone, Gulgong, Lightning Ridge, Mudgee, Narromine, Nyngan, Peak Hill, Tottenham, Trangie, Walgett, Warren and Wellington.
With more than 5,000 staff and volunteers and covering an area a quarter of the size of Victoria, Bendigo Health, is an expanding regional health service offering the advantages of city life combined with the beauty and freedom that comes from living in a regional area.
Bendigo Health is a 700 bed service that treats more than 45,000 inpatients, triages more than 65,000 emergency attendees and welcomes more than 1,600 new born babies in a year. In addition more than 15,000 operations are performed in our operating theatres and more than 100,000 occasions of services are provided in our clinics to outpatients.
The organisation provides services in emergency, maternity, women’s health, medical imaging, pathology, rehabilitation, community services, residential aged care, psychiatric care, community dental, hospice/palliative care, cardiology, cancer services and renal dialysis to the people of the Loddon Mallee region.
With our main campus based in Bendigo, our services extend throughout the Loddon Mallee with sites in areas such as Mildura, Echuca, Swan Hill, Kyneton and Castlemaine.
